This Isn't Goodbye, Just See You Later

I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time staring at deviantart. So, I'm making a vow to not even look at this site again until such time as I either have a piece of art to upload, or I decide to delete some or all of my deviations.

I want to say thank you to the few friends I have on here, if I am able to stick to my guns and I don't come back for a while I can be emailed at deadimpulse@gmail.com

For some reason I can't figure out how to link to my facebook without a bunch of a emoticons turning up in the link, I'm probably doing something wrong :crazy:, but you can send me a link to your page via email if you'd like to friend me :).

Well, I'm not bipolar, but I'm beginning to feel that way at times :lol:. I'm taking things day by day, the problem is one day is brilliant and the next is complete crap, but I guess that's how life works.

I've taken an interest in writing, so I've been practicing that a bit and studying books on fiction writing, grammar, creativity etc.

How are you? Did your band like the songs that you showed me on youtube? Do you have any new creative projects that I should be looking forward to?

i feel that way sometimes too :P trust me. especially when i get only like 5 hours of sleep a night (like i have all this week!) and i don't feel tired, but totally awake... it makes me wonder sometimes. :P

that's awesome! writing is such a great outlet! i love to write too, though i'm not sure i'm good at it. i wrote a poem 2 nights ago (yesterday morning?) at 1am because i just had to write. you never know when inspiration will strike. :) that's cool that you're studying about it too. i bought a little book called "the elements of style" by struck&white. i only started to read it a bit, but it was recommended highly to me by a very good local poet. it's more of a technical style guide for writing i guess.

i'm doing well, thanks! hmm... you know, i'm not even sure my band saw the videos! :P i think i forgot to show them :lol: they rejected the first 2 songs i played on the videos when i brought them to practice, so i don't know... maybe they'd like hearing them live, maybe not. they are finicky... kind of music snobs :P it's too bad because i'd like to play all my songs with the band, obviously! but oh well :P they LOVED a new song i wrote last week and we had a great practice this week. i finally got music editing software on my computer so i'll be doing some work on recordings this week, hopefully uploading some songs from practices!

i have some ideas for self-portraits... i need to make time to work on! and i should this weekend be receiving the first image from tim, my collaboration partner, to start the series! so i'm very excited about that.

tonight playing another acoustic open mic night... supposedly it will be videotaped and aired locally! :D that's about all i'm up to at the moment... guess it's alot though, as usual :P
