This is me in my room, looking out of the window. Most days I don't leave this space.

Great photo. I know the feeling about staying in your sanctuary. I really think it is a creative thing.

Keep up the good work. You're doing great.

Thank you, I really needed that encouragement, especially from someone who I admire. And thank you for the :+fav: :)

You getting a good start and you're so young. You're learning so much and is so diligent about it. By the time you're my age you're going to be a master. Just remember that whenever you start to doubt or feel down. You have so much ahead of you and I can see leaps of progression and improvement in your work. And I think it is pretty damn cool that you are working in film. It's going to add a whole new dimension and appreciation for your work, even if and when you go digital.

I know the feeling of not leaving your space. Though I'm not agoraphobic, I suffer frm depression, and sometimes it feels like I've been paralysed, I'm so heavy and can't move. Everything is too much effort.

Good picture, I like the grain. Keep it up!:glomp:

I know how depression can drain your energy. I've been diagnosed with "major depression" in addition to my anxiety disorders. Thankfully my anxiety and depression have started to slowly but surely improve since I've started treatment this year.

I appreciate the comments, favs, and encouragement very much! It means a lot, and really makes me want learn how to create better photographs.

It's a vicious circle. The more you bury yourself in your bed, the worse you feel about yourself. Do you know *ItDoesNotHaveMe? They have good contests and stuff for and about artists with various illnesses. Have a look if you like! And `Beccalicious has a project running at the mo, tho that's mostly for people with experience of self harm, I got a thing about it in my journal.
Big :hug:It's an uphill struggle, but we CAN get there!

I know what depression and such is like, but I am not to familiar with agoraphobia. What does it mean again?

Regardless, I support you, and today being international mental health day, happy mental health day, and good mental health!

It's a fear of having to interact with or be around people in heavily populated and/or large spaces...well actually it is a lot more complicated than that, but it's hard to put into words. It tends to keep people stuck inside their homes for extended periods of time, depending on the severity.

Happy Mental Health Day to you too! Though I guess it's technically over now , at least here on the east coast. Thank you for the :+fav: :)

Well, I hope that you can deal with it, and overcome it. There are many beautiful people out in the world, and you will never meet them inside. For some reason, the song by Natasha Bedingfield comes up [link] wish you good strength, and lots of hope!!!
